Private Expedition to Vallecito: $120.000 CLP per person (~$120 USD / ~115 EUR) when booking directly. 3-4 hours long, 1-4 people exclusive.

With the naked eye: the full Milky Way, thousands of stars, the Magellanic Clouds, southern hemisphere constellations.

Through the telescope: color nebulae (Carina, Orion, Tarantula), galaxies (Andromeda, Sculptor), star clusters (Omega Centauri, Jewel Box), planets in detail (Saturn with its rings, Jupiter with its moons).

The Private Expedition to Vallecito lasts 3-4 hours (flexible schedule). It begins after sunset, typically between 20:00 and 21:00 depending on the time of year.

Yes, children are welcome. Recommended for ages 6 and up. Children are fascinated watching Saturn with its rings and the Moon in detail. We adapt the explanations so they are easy to understand and fun.

Practical Info

The desert cold at night is intense — even in summer it can drop to 0°C, in winter -5°C or lower.

Essential:

  • Thermal jacket or parka (ski type)
  • Double socks (thin + thick)
  • Thermal gloves
  • A hat that covers your ears
  • Scarf or fleece neck warmer
  • Closed shoes (never sandals)

Yes, 100% included. We pick you up at the door of your hotel and bring you back when it's over. You don't have to worry about transport.

Yes, every day of the year except during a very bright full moon or bad weather (rare — 2-3 days a year). If we cancel, we offer rescheduling or a full refund.
